Honest & Artistically Curated

Documentary wedding photography in the UK,
Ireland and beyond

Connection over Performance

Digital & 35mm film wedding photography, for couples who value:

Photographing the feeling

A Connection Focused Approach to Wedding Photography.

Here's the thing — I want your wedding gallery to feel like a collection of photographs taken by your closest friends. The kind of images taken from the centre of the action, that could only be made by someone who really knows you, truly sees you, and understands your connection.

That’s why I take the time to get to know you both, so I understand your connection and what makes you you. On the day itself, I make a real effort to blend in by establishing a rapport with your friends and family without ever overstepping. I want to feel like a familiar, friendly face rather than just another supplier, so everyone can relax and be themselves around me — from vulnerable tears to chaotic silliness —because that’s where the most meaningful photographs are made.

My approach to documentary wedding photography is relaxed, observant, and deeply intentional. I step in with gentle guidance when it's helpful, but never at the expense of a real moment. I'm always watching for the in-between glances, the laughter, the hugs, and the quiet details that make your day uniquely yours.

I’m the photographer for you if you want beautiful photographs to remember your wedding day by, without your wedding day ever feeling like it’s centred around the photographs themselves.

Creative Documentary Wedding Photography for couples who want a wedding day that feels like a wedding, not a photoshoot.

With every wedding I photograph, I become more and more convinced that the photos we linger on longest aren’t the staged portraits or classic “key events”, but the ones that contain the most evidence of a moment fully felt. That is where my passion lives when it comes to photographing weddings.

Not in creating images that are perfectly posed, but capturing ones filled with the beautifully imperfect mix of emotions, people, and fleeting things that make a wedding day what it is.

Sure, a dip kiss in your first dance whilst everyone’s watching makes a great photo. But what about when they’ve rushed in to join you, and are dancing among themselves until you’re no longer the centre of attention, so can just totally let loose in the relief and joy and overwhelm of pulling off an epic wedding day by scream singing to one of your favourite songs?

That’s the kind of photo I want to take. That’s the kind I’ll be watching for.

Love Notes.

“We had the absolute honour of having our wedding documented by Sarah. She is an extremely talented, warm and professional wedding photographer who instantly made us feel safe and comfortable. From our first meeting, Sarah took the time to truly understand us as a couple and the kind of wedding day we wanted, which made such a difference. You can completely trust that you’re in good hands on the day, and that your finished wedding photography will be nothing short of stunning.”

“Sarah’s empathy and ability to read people is what sets her apart as a wedding photographer. She created calm moments throughout the day, made everyone feel comfortable, and captured the emotional, meaningful moments in a way that felt honest and deeply personal.”

“We booked Sarah to capture our uk wedding photography ahead of our destination wedding because we loved her relaxed, engaging style of wedding photography. While we knew the photographs would be beautiful, what truly stood out was how warm, down-to-earth and welcoming she was on the day. Sarah gave gentle direction without being pushy, made us feel completely at ease, and captured the day in a way that feels natural and full of meaning. The finished images are beyond our wildest dreams and something we’ll cherish forever”.
