High-vibes and a 90s rave dancefloor for Catherine & Michael’s wild and elegant Charlton Hall Wedding.

Catherine and Michael’s wedding at Charlton Hall was pure energy from start to finish — elegant, fun, and totally them. The day had this wonderful mix of black-tie glamour and wild 90s rave vibes, which made it unforgettable to photograph. Catherine looked incredible in her elegant gown (and those shoes — just wow), while Michael (Ergh), designed all of their stationery, giving everything a creative, personal edge.

The atmosphere never dipped — the party started early and just kept building. One of the most hilarious moments was when Born Slippy came on, and the bridal party stormed the dance floor armed with whistles and giant cut-outs of the couple’s iconic dog, Martin. It was chaotic, joyful, and completely brilliant. Just as the evening was getting underway, the skies opened and a perfect double rainbow appeared — we dashed outside for portraits in the Charlton Hall grounds, which couldn’t have been more magical.

For me, it was extra special to be there as it also happened to be my birthday — there aren’t many better ways to spend it than photographing such a wild and joy-filled day. I loved capturing it all alongside my friend and brilliant videographer, Ryan Lilburn.
