A nostalgic, romantic portrait session for Bailey & Sean following their civil ceremony wedding in Newcastle city cetnre.

Bailey and Sean’s wedding day was all about intention. Rather than documenting the entire day, Bailey knew exactly what she wanted - time, space, and creative freedom to create something nostalgic, romantic, and editorial after their civil ceremony in Newcastle city centre.

Sean, who’s from Newcastle, and Bailey, who’s American, wanted their portraits to feel iconic and editorial while still holding a softness and sense of connection. Bailey wore two beautiful dresses, and we intentionally matched each look to its surroundings - shifting the mood and pace as we moved through the city. She was really keen to lean into something cinematic and emotive, with a love for black and white nostalgia.

After our time together, Bailey and Sean carried on into an intimate evening of celebration with family and friends.

Photographing their portraits was a reminder that weddings don’t have to follow a set structure to be deeply meaningful. Sometimes, carving out space for creativity and connection is exactly what makes the memories last.

To preserve the privacy of the couples I work with, I don’t share full galleries online. Instead, these example galleries showcase highlights from weddings where my couples have kindly given me permission to share their images. This way, you can get a feel for the kind of imagery I deliver after your wonderful wedding day. If you’d like to see a complete gallery, just let me know — I have a small selection that couples have generously allowed me to share with potential clients.
